Full-Process Digital Management Solutions
As an archipelago country in Southeast Asia, the Philippines has an average annual rainfall of more than 2,000 mm, and 70% of its land is mountainous and hilly. This unique geographical environment poses a dual challenge to asphalt plant in the philippines: ensuring construction efficiency in the rainy season and equipment adaptability in complex terrain. Based on the characteristics of the Philippine market and the rapid response capabilities of local offices, Macroad launched modular design equipment and full-process digital management solutions, adapting to the road construction environment in the Philippines.
To meet the needs of different project sizes and types in the Philippines, Macroad offers the following major asphalt plants locally:

My name is Carlos, and I have been working at a mixing plant in southern Manila for almost 5 years. Before starting the machine every day, I had to check more than 10 valves one by one, adjust the belt tension, and it took 40 minutes just to preheat.
Now, Macroad’s equipment has an integrated intelligent control system. When the morning shift presses the “one-button start and stop” button, more than 50 operating steps will run automatically – the cold material bin starts loading, the drying drum is preheated, and the asphalt tank automatically heats up. There is no need to switch manually during the whole process.
I only need to confirm the formula on the touch screen. After the heavy rain yesterday, the system also automatically detected that the moisture content of the aggregate was high, and switched to the “rainy season mode” with one button, saving the trouble of manual adjustment.
After the hot aggregate comes out of the drying drum, the biggest worry in the past was inaccurate weighing – especially in the rainy season, the sand and gravel with water will cause the electronic scale to drift, and rework is often required. The current hot aggregate weighing bucket is like a smart housekeeper: it automatically compensates for the drop during cumulative weighing, and immediately alarms and locks when it is overweight.
Once the loader unloaded the material too hard, and the thickened steel plate of the overflow tank firmly caught the excess aggregate. In the past, these materials would have been wasted. In addition, there is a built-in exhaust and dust removal pipeline, so you can’t feel the air flow shaking when weighing the material, and the numbers on the electronic screen are stable, and you don’t have to calibrate repeatedly like before.
Unloading the powder silo used to be a big problem – the square hopper always had residues, and it took a long time to knock it clean with an iron rod. Now it has been replaced with a conical design, and the powder is as clean as running water. With the unloading spiral, the time from metering to tank entry has been shortened by 1 and a half minutes.
The most intuitive is the linear vibrating screen, with 4 layers of screens working at the same time, the noise is much smaller than the previous circular vibrating screen, and maintenance is only required once every 1,500 hours. After the typhoon last week, a stone was stuck in the screen. The system gave an early warning through IoT monitoring, and we stopped the machine in time to clean it up, avoiding a possible shutdown accident.
During the routine inspection in the afternoon, the most reassuring thing was the vibration motor anti-drop device – each screw has a double lock, and it has been used for more than half a year and has never been loose.
The self-cleaning device of the belt conveyor is also very considerate. In the past, it took 1 hour every day to clean the sticky material. Now it is automatically scraped when the belt is running, and the time saved can be used to check two more devices. The most powerful is the predictive maintenance reminder. We just received a notification yesterday in the computer, indicating that the wear rate of the mixing blade reached 20%. The system automatically adjusted the mixing parameters and extended the service life. There is no need to worry about sudden shutdowns like before.
Before leaving get off work, I started the fully enclosed exhaust system and watched the dust being sucked into the dust removal tank by negative pressure. I felt very relieved. In the past, the construction site was surrounded by dust and nearby residents often complained. Now there are very few complaints.
The benefits of modular design are more obvious at this time: last week, we just disassembled the equipment into standard sections and shipped it to the new construction site in Pampanga Province by container. It took only 7 days to reassemble it, which was 3 days faster than traditional equipment and saved 20,000 pesos in shipping costs.
In the Philippines, where it is hot and rainy, what we fear most is not hard work, but equipment failure and safety hazards. Macroad’s equipment is like a reliable partner: one-button operation allows novices to quickly get started, remote monitoring allows engineers to solve problems at any time, and the wear-resistant design reduces the number of times we have to climb high and drill low for maintenance.
Now before leaving get off work every day, looking at the green prompt of “zero failure” on the dashboard and thinking about the high-quality mixed materials produced that day, I feel a great sense of accomplishment – this is the good equipment that allows us to work with peace of mind and make money for a long time.
